WELCOME TO ANNA & MIKE'S WEDDING SITE

August 28, 2004 -- the "NOT Labor Day Weekend" wedding!

We're gettng down to it, people.  Can't wait to see you all in Mystic on the 27th and 28th.  Meanwhile, here are a couple last minute details:
 
  •  Rehearsal dinner: If you will not be attending, it better not be because you're frightened of interesting clothes.  However, regardless of your reasoning, unless you have specifically made the "regrets" call requested on the invitation, we want to hear from you now.  If you told us six weeks ago that you're only coming for the day on Saturday, A) we probably don't remember, and B) plans change, so give us your final answer when you have a second.  That number again: (401) 782-6874. If you're getting in after 7 on Friday night, please feel free to come by the German Club whenever you can.
  • For details about logistical things, see our new logistics page.  Much of this information will also be waiting for you in your hotel when you arrive, because that's just how organized we are.
  • The schedule of events is below.  More detailed schedule and location information is also on the logistics page.  Logistics are where it's at, man.

WEDDING EVENTS:
FRIDAY
If you plan to be in town Friday morning and want to squeeze in the traditional pre-wedding round of golf, please contact John Conathan at jocon@cape.com.
FRIDAY NIGHT
All are invited to the Rehearsal dinner starting at 7:00 PM at the Geman Club, a high-falootin' speak-easy of a place across the street from the main entrance to the Seaport.  It's the building in need of a paint job that looks like it might be a masonic lodge, or at least the headquarters of a Kool-Aid drinking cult.  The food, however, will be top notch.  Also the liquor.
PLEASE NOTE: proper attire for the evening is "interesting" (see below)  A hint: Anna will be wearing her prom dress.
Alas, bowling is off the program.  We don't roll on Shabbos.
SATURDAY
The CEREMONY will take place at 5 PM at the Greenmanville Meeting House on the grounds of the Mystic Seaport Museum.
The RECEPTION will follow at the Boat Shed, also on the Seaport grounds.
A POST-RECEPTION GALA will carry the festivities deeper into the night for those so inclined.  This will be held at Charley's Harbour Inne and is likely to become rather rowdy due to the extensive involvement of the mother of the groom and her cohorts, AKA the Tarts (see below).
SUNDAY MORNING
All are welcome to a FAREWELL BREAKFAST, also at Charley's Harbour Inne at 10 AM.
